ADULT MINISTRIES

Discipleship

We offer Sunday School for all ages and small discipleship groups designed to bring us closer to one another and to God. In addition to our children’s and teen classes we offer:

  • New Creation Class for adults and delves deeper into faith.
  • Explorers Class for adults in their mid-twenties and up seeking to learn more about how faith impacts our lives.
  • Theology Round Tables where our staff and special guests get together to discuss topics and ideas related to our faith and lives as we become closer to God.

For questions and to get connected, contact Pastor Brandon Brown.
Worship

At HCN, we believe that Jesus is the only one worthy of our worship. We believe worship is not just a Sunday morning experience. It goes beyond music; worship is a lifestyle we desire to live out!

Our prayer and mission is to have an environment where people engage in authentic worship together, grow deeper in their faith community and encourage and uplift spirits through song, all while bringing all the glory and honor to him!

Join us Sunday mornings at 10:30am for a meaningful time through instrument, song and God’s spoken word!

Men’s Ministry

Focuses on three core values:
Accountability
Fellowship
Service
We strive to equip and develop men of all ages to be better disciples of Jesus as men, fathers, husbands, and brothers in Christ. Some things we offer are men’s Bible studies, men’s breakfasts, service project opportunities, and special events that builds relationship with one another.

Women’s Ministry

Seeks to connect with women of all ages right where they are. We meet for monthly lunches, weekly “pop up” gatherings such as coffee or lunch, and special events throughout the year.

J.O.Y. Fellowship

Stands for “Just Older Youth” and is geared toward age 50+

We meet from 10:30am to noon on the first Wednesday of every month at the church and enjoy a potluck lunch, short devotional, and games.

Questions? Contact Pastor Terry Hedges.

Hoops Church

Hoops Church brings together basketball and the gospel for those ages 15 and older. We kick off our two-hour session with prayer then play as many games as we can. In the middle, we pause to share and listen to what God has to say to us, fostering a sense of community and understanding for everyone involved.

Questions? Contact Pastor Mark Robison.

Emmaus is a worship service in the context of a fellowship meal open to all people. Emmaus is an opportunity to worship through both serving and being served, where people longing for both physical and spiritual food may be satisfied together. Emmaus meets on Sundays at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall at NFCN.
